Original Gospel Stage Plays Written and Directed by: Debra L. Atkins "ONE GOOD MAN"  An original gospel stage play. One Good Man is the sequel to "When Love Walks Away."  How one man is determine to keep his faith in God even though he is faced with heart wretching pain when his wife decides to leave him for another man.  This play is filled with real characters, real situations, real talk and most of all real faith in God. WHEN LOVE WALKS AWAY For some, their religious beliefs and practices are extremely important to them and they devote much of their time and energy to practicing their beliefs. Come and witness a real-life comedy/drama about a young woman that meets her ideal man, and falls deeply in love, but soon finds out that falling in love can be more complicated than she ever imagined.  Especially when the love of her life is simply ready to walk away from their relationship because she refuses to compromise her Christian beliefs. But in the end she has to make the decision to either let the love of her life walk right out of her life or hold fast to her beliefs and obey God.  This is a play you don’t won’t to miss.  This is a full production and it is good for all audiences. "WHERE WILL I END UP?"   This powerful spiritual drama focuses on a young woman's life, from beginning to end. Monica Winslow, a young woman, accepts her Christianity by birth, but slowly loses her faith in God as she makes bad decisions that challenge and test her Christian values.  As the audience looks through Monica's lens of her life, they walk through an examination of their own lives and their relationships with God.  Emotionally interactive and thought provoking, it will have the audience asking themselves: Where will I end up, Heaven or Hell?  The theme and thoughts of this contemporary drama will appeal to audiences of all age groups. FINAL WARNING This is an original stage play about a woman who refuses to change her ungodly life-style after many warnings, and what happens when she is given her final warning.  This is a play you don't want to miss.  This play will change your life forever. THERE IS NO OTHER LIKE A MOTHER This is a powerful drama about an elderly mother, and her five adult children, and some of the changes she has to go through, but in the end they learn the importance of having a mother. I Want To Be A Witness This is a very powerful, and emotional felt drama about the importance of witnessing, and what happens when Christians don't witness for God.  Jesus' Love, No Charge This a drama about three Christian women, who all love God, but one of them is a famous gospel singer who only thinks about the money she can make from the talents that God gave to her. No More Devil! This is a powerful skit about a daughter who prays and rebukes the devil for her mother, who is dealing with depression.  When Life Happens This is a powerful production that has 12 different skits that deal with different real life issues.  A PART-TIME CHRISTIAN   This is a skit about a woman who has been acting like a part-time Christian, and learns that she really should be doing a whole lot more.  This skit will be good for a Mission Program, or a special Sunday Program.  Skit should take about 15 minutes to perform.     ARE YOU REALLY SAVED?   This is a play about teenagers who experience the death of a classmate, and begins to question their own salvation.  Skit would be good for any church program or youth program.  Skit should take about 10-15 minutes to perform.     BEHOLD YOUR GOD     This is a very short skit that talks about the coming of Jesus, and God’s goodness.  This skit will be good for any church program.  Skit should take about five minutes to perform.   Blacks In The Bible   This is a very short skit where people portray the different characters in the bible.  Great for any church program, or black history program. BRING HIM IN This is a drama about a son that helps his father who is dealing with depression.  This drama will be good for any Men church program, or any young men church program.  It should take about 10 minutes to perform.   CHURCH PEOPLE     This is a drama about some of the different personalities that are in the Church, and what happens when the pastor calls an unexpected meeting.  This skit will be good for any church program, and should take about 15 minutes to perform.   Don’t Forget About Me   This is a drama about black Americans in the past and in the present, and relationship they have with God.  This play should take about 20 - 25 minutes to perform, and will be good for any black history program.     DREAMS DON’T ALWAYS COME TRUE     This is an explosive drama about a recently married woman, and her abusive husband, and all she goes through.  This drama will be good for any social event.  Drama should take about 35-45 minutes to perform.   Easter, What’s The Big Deal Anyway?     This is a skit about teenagers on Easter Day who wants to find out the real meaning of celebrating Easter.  This skit would be good for any Easter Program, and should take about 10-15 minutes to perform.   FAT CAN’T BE WHERE IT’S AT   This is a comedy/drama about two friends, who are always trying to lose weight, and all the changes they go through to achieve their goals.  This drama will be good for any social event, or diet clinic program.  Drama should take between 20-30 minutes to perform.   GIVING MY LIFE TO GOD     This is a skit concerning people who find God, and give their lives to him at a revival. Skit would be good for the youths to perform.  Skit should take about 10 minutes to perform.   GLAD I HAVE A DAD   This drama is about the importance of having a father. It will be good for a Father's Day Program, or any social event concerning fathers.  Drama should take between 10-15 minutes to perform.   HE DESERVES BETTER     This is a drama, dealing with the celebration of Easter, and what happens when two angels come to earth.  This drama will be good for any Easter church function, or a religious church function.  Should take about 20 minutes to perform.   HE IS ALIVE!   This is a drama is about a family who experiences the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  This play would be good for any Easter program, or any special day church program.  It should take about 15 minutes to perform.     HOW TO KEEP A GOOD MAN   This is a drama about several women with different backgrounds, seeking advice on how to keep a good man.  This drama would be good for any women social function, or any social event.  Drama should take between 25-35 minutes to perform. I AM WHAT I AM   This is a full-length drama about a group of children in a Sunday school class, who is studying  the life of Moses and the Children of Israel as they cross the Red Sea .  This drama would be good for any church program or social group concerning children.     IF YOU PRAY   This is powerful skit concerning drug addiction, and how the power of prayer gave a mother back her daughter.  This skit will be good for any church or social event.  Skit should take between 5-10 minutes to perform.     IF YOU WERE IN MY SHOES     This is a drama about an alcoholic mother, and her three children.  This drama will be good for a church program, or a social event.  Drama should take about 20 minutes to perform.   I'M GOOD FOR SOMETHING     This is a drama concerning a trouble youth, and how he proves that he is good for something.  This drama will be good for youth programs, especially trouble youths.  Drama will take about 25 minutes to perform.   I'M JUST A NOBODY   This is a drama about a man down on his luck.  Who stands on a street corner close to where a church is located, asking for a hand out, and how the people coming out of the church treats him.  This drama would be good for any church program or social event.  Drama should take between 15-20 minutes to perform.     I'M THANKFUL   This is a powerful drama about a young girl who learns what it means to be truly thankful for what she already has.  This drama will be good for any church program, especially around Thanksgiving, or any social event.  Drama should take about 20 minutes to perform.   JESUS PAID IT ALL   This is a drama about a man who is on trial for all the mistakes he has made in his life.  This drama takes place in a courtroom, but the only people present in the courtroom are the Judge, the Prosecutor, the Lawyer, and the Defendant, and the Bailiff.  This drama would be good for church program.  Drama should take about 15 minutes to perform.     LOOKING BACK   This is a full-length drama about black relationships in the millennium.  This drama deals with love, betrayal, and many other surprises.  This drama will be good for any social event.  Drama will take about 2 hours to perform. LOVE, CHISTRIANITY & UNITY     This is a skit about a woman who lives across the street from a church.  Instead of her going inside the church she just sits and watches the other people as they come and go. This drama will be good for any church program, especially for a evangelism or a mission program.  Skit should take about ten minutes to perform.   NO TOMORROW   This is a drama concerning high school teenagers that uses drugs, and how drug changes a young man life, who once was a honor student.  This drama would be good for a school or social event.  Drama should take about 30 minutes to perform.   NOT MY BABY   This is a powerful drama concerning teenage pregnancy, and some of the changes a young woman has to go through while being pregnant. This drama will be good for a school or social event for young adults.  Drama should take about 30 minutes to perform.     SHADOWS ON OUR HEARTS   This is a powerful drama concerning youths with adult problems.  This drama will be good for any youth event, or school program.  Drama should take about 25 minutes to perform.   SISTERS IN CHRIST    This is a drama about three sisters who all love God, but all serve him in different ways.  Good for all church programs, or for any Women Annual Day program.  Drama should take about 15 minutes to perform.   SOMETHING JUST FOR YOU!   This is a play about church members who are getting ready for their Pastor’s anniversary program.  This play would be good for any church program, and should take about 10 minutes to perform.   TIMES ARE HARD   This is a drama about a family who experiences hard times.  This play focuses on the importance of keeping your faith in God through hard times.  This drama will be good for any church program, or social event.  Drama should take about 20-25 minutes to perform.   TWO COUSINS   This is a skit about Gabriel, Mary and Elizabeth.  Each one tells their story about the birth of John the Baptist and Jesus.  This skit will be good for any church program, and should take about 10 minutes to perform.   WHAT SPIRIT IS CONTROLLING YOU?     This is a powerful play about the different spirits that control mankind and what happens in the end to the evil spirits.  This would be a good play for any church program or social event.  should take about 30-45 minutes to perform.   WHEN THREE NEGROES SAW BLACKS   This is a good play about three great black leaders, and what happens when they are allowed a chance to witness how the black race has now turned out.  This play would be good for any church program or any social event especially during a black history celebration.   WHERE ARE THE CHRISTIANS?    This is a drama about different people, who are passing through down, who also are experiencing problems, and what happens when there are not enough real Christians to tell them about God.  This drama will be good for any church program.  Drama should take between 30-40 minutes to perform.   WHERE WILL I END UP?   This is a powerful drama about a young woman's life, from beginning to end, and where she will end up, Heaven or Hell.  This drama will be good for any church program or social event.  Drama should take about 45-50 minutes to perform.     WHO IS THAT GREAT MAN?   This is a Easter drama.  This drama focuses on a young girl who wants to find out who Jesus really is.  This drama will be good for any church program, and should take about 10-15 minutes to perform.     WILL YOU BE READY?   This is a play about a women who tries to protect herself from being a victim of crime, and what happens to her when Death comes for her.  This play will be good for any church or social event.     WILL YOU LIE FOR ME?   This is a drama about two married couples, and some of the things they go through with each other.  This drama will be good for any social event, and should take about 60 minutes to perform.     YOU CAN'T TRUST ANYONE   This is a good drama for the youths concerning trusting strangers, and has a very good message about child molestation.  Good for any programs dealing with youth issues.  Drama should take about 20-25 minutes to perform.     YOU NEVER KNOW   This is a powerful drama concerning teenage suicide.  This drama would be good for any youth or church program, or any social event.  Drama should take about 20-25 minutes to perform.   If you need more information on how we can bring any of these productions to your church, or for a special event, please feel free to contact us at 281-454-5081 or 832-423-9090.
