A CHRISTMAS GREETING

 

This is a Christmas skit dealing with the birth of Jesus.  How the Angel spoke to the shepherds, and it also shows how the three wise me followed the star.  Good for the youths to perform.  Skit should take about 10-15 minutes to perform.

 

Setting: Two.  Outside and nativity scene.

Characters: 

 

GIFTS FROM GOD

 

   

This is a play about a mother that has started using drugs, and how her family handles this situation around the Christmas Holidays.  This drama will be good for any church Christmas program or any Christmas social event.  Should take about 25 minutes to perform.

 

Setting:  Living Room Setting

 

Characters: 7    

 

 

MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS

 

This is a play about a Christian woman who doesn’t believe in celebrating Christmas because of all the painful memories she has experienced and what happens to her to make her have a change of heart.

 

Settings: Three different settings.  Two living room settings, and one church setting.

A Christmas Story To Remember

 

This is a Christmas drama bout a beggar on Christmas Day, and how four different families respond to him when he knocks on their doors.  Drama should take about 15-20 minutes to perform.

 

Setting: Four different, simple living room settings.

A Christmas Without Presents

 

 This is a Christmas drama concerning the real meaning of celebrating Christmas, and how a mother and her daughters must realize it’s more to Christmas than receiving presents.  Drama will be good for any church or social event, and should take about 30 minutes to perform.

 

Setting:           Two different, simple living room settings.

This is a drama about the homeless during Christmas.  This drama will be good for any Christmas program at church, a social event, or a school production.  Drama should take about 15 minutes to perform.

 

Setting:   Living Room setting.

All I Want For Christmas

 

This is a play about a family that is dealing with an elderly grandmother who is starting to develop Alzheimer's disease around the Christmas holidays, and some of the changes they go through.  This play would be good for any church or social event, and should take about 30- 45 minutes to perform.

 

  Setting:   ONE LIVING ROOM AND DINNING ROOM SETTING.

 

Characters: 10           

 

PEACE, HOPE AND LOVE

 

This is a skit  takes place on Christmas Eve at a shelter for abandoned children, and the miracle that Joyce and Mona receives on Christmas day.   This skit would be good for any Christmas program and it should take about 10  - 15 minutes to perform.

 

Settings:     One living room setting.  Two Scenes.

 

Characters: 5

 

PRAY AND EXPECT A MIRACLE

 

This is a heart felt play about a mother who becomes sick with a terrible disease during the Christmas holidays, and what happens when she keeps her faith in God.  This drama will be good for any Christmas program at church, or a social event.  Drama should take about 25 minutes to perform.

 

Setting:           Living Room setting and one outside setting.

 

Characters: 7

 

THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

 

This is comedy/drama play about how two angels are sent to earth to see how people are celebrating Christmas.  This play would be good for all audiences, and should take about 25 minutes to perform.

 

Setting:           Outside of a mall.
